Brief about the role:

The Incharge – Equipment Procurement is responsible for end-to-end procurement of equipment for shipbuilding and related projects, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and compliant acquisitions. The role involves developing procurement strategies, managing imports, handling logistics and customs coordination, and maintaining zero demurrage. The incumbent leads a team of buyers, manages supplier relationships, negotiates contracts, and ensures adherence to quality, budget, and delivery timelines. Close collaboration with engineering, project, finance, and commercial teams is essential to support operational goals and continuous process improvement.
